This image shows a mans choice to jump out of one of the twin towers after the plane had crashed into it. This image shows the desolation and emptiness the world felt after this tragedy. I chose this photograph because when this incident struck the whole world stopped and felt the tragedy on September 11, 2001. The man falling upside down shows the terror and confusion that many felt. It is composed really well and has a simple background so the viewer really feels what is happening in this photograph.

I chose this picture of Demi Moore photographed by Annie Leibovitz because it celebrates women and pregnancy. It lets the world recognize the beauty in pregnancy and how empowering it is for women. Demi Moore is photographed looking to the side and to me this shows her looking into the future. The warm colors shows the excitement women have before they give birth to their child. Her head is tilted up to showing the strength she has to keep working as an actress/model while pregnant.

I chose this portrait of the famous artist Salvador Dalí called Dalí Atomicus photographed by Philippe Halsman because it displays the craziness that Salvador Dalí painted in his artwork. Salvador Dalí was a surrealist painter which showed dream like aspects. I love the placement of Salvador Dalí to show he is constantly surrounded by abstract thoughts. The black and white adds a hint of mystery into the photograph making the viewer wonder what goes on in Dalí's head.
