This March, I experimented with mirrored photographs. I took all of these photos over the course of a year and mirrored them in photoshop. To create this type of photograph, I pulled up a photo of mine and cropped it down to 4 by 4. Next open up a new document at the size 8 by 8. Drag your 4 by 4 photograph onto the document and hold down option and drag the picture to the side (Make sure you create a new layer from the background my holding down command j). If you are using an Apple computer click your photograph copy and hold down command t. Scroll down the list to flip vertical to line it up with your other photograph. After you have the first half merge the first layer together by clicking command e. Then select the first half and copy then paste. Drag the copied layer down, hold command t, then flip horizontal. If you follow these steps then you should create a mirrored photograph of your own!
